Min vana trogen – jag är ju Hedning, inte sant – och antagligen också i tjänst hos självaste Mörkrets Furste och den eviga fördömelsen – sannolikt har jag väl skrivit på någotslags kontrakt, utan att ens märka det – så bryter jag naturligtvis emot de principer jag själv ställt upp, så sent som igår. Jag skrev att jag inte skulle beröra Rikets förhållande till Främmande makt, någonsin – och då måste det väl följdriktigt också finnas en hel lista på vissa nationer och ämnen som jag nogsamt borde undvika, eftersom det vore att fiska i grumligt vatten eller bedriva någotslags ”nätfiske”. Och det finns det tydligen väldigt många som gör, nuförtiden…
Ni anar inte så många läsare och följare jag har, i de mest konstiga nationer av alla de slag. Men nu över till dagens första, inledande händelse.

Efter gårdagens influensa-vaccinering (en ”tredje dos” Covid-vaccin är fullständigt omöjlig för min åldersgrupp att alls få tag i – inte ens min 88-åriga gamla mor har fått mer än en dos, trots alla politiska utfästelser och falska löften om hur mycket som görs för att skydda våra äldre – hon får sin andra först i morgon) känner jag mig en aning vimmelkantig, och har förstås näsblod, lättare feber och en del andra symptom, men beslutar mig för att ge mig ut på vägarna i alla fall – per buss denna gång – och nalkas min arbetsplats för dagen. Jag har själv förutspått eller rättare sagt närapå förutsett vad jag kommer att få se, exakt 25 minuter senare, då jag talat om min nära nog amputerade högerfot, och hur jag vilseletts av en person inom den svenska sjukvården – en händelse som faktiskt kunnat sluta med amputation – och nej – jag ljuger inte, inte om sådant – jag använder inte metaforer nu.
Nästan varje större ort i Sverige av betydelse har numera två motorvägsavfarter, och det är nog tur, för en av dem verkar blockerad av en större olycka, efter vad jag kan se genom min vindruta. Sikten är mycket dålig denna morgon, men utryckningsfordon är redan på plats därframme, och om skadeutfallet – ifall det nu ens finns något – går det inte att uttala sig, inte än i alla fall – men bussen leds vidare emot nästa avfart. Järnvägsstationen och det nya ”resecentrum” som skulle varit klart för ett år sedan, är förstås avstängt sedan länge – och inte bara på grund av Vintern. Jag hoppar av i ett större industriområde, och passerar vad som varit ett låglänt, sankt sumpområde så sent som för två-tre år sedan – där har numera byggts en hel förort, inklusive ålderdomshem och ett bostadsområde, vars kraftförsörjning visat sig underdimensionerad enligt lokalpressen. En gammal kvinna irrar omkring på en trottoar – och närmast scoutmässigt får jag hjälpa henne över gatan.
Är det min plikt och min medborgerliga skyldighet att göra just det, denna morgon ? – Ja, säger jag – för Hedning som jag är kan jag citera den garanterat genomhedniske Kejsar Marcus Aurelius, han som lär ha sagt att vad som än händer, vad som än sker så är det min plikt att alltid vara god. Blåljussabotage är olagligt, numera – att ge sig in på en olycksplats där räddningsfordon och samhällsresurser redan finns likaså – men vi är alltid skyldiga att ge våra medmänniskor en hjälpande hand.
När jag kommit över en bredare allé, och tagit avsked av den gamla damen får jag se en gatuskylt, och konstaterar vad den nya huvudleden in i bostadsområdet heter. Jag börjar gapskratta, en smula hysteriskt, nästan sardoniskt. Den nya gatstumpen är givetvis uppkallad efter gudinnan Freja, och jag ser detta som ett tecken.
Det är ett tecken, om inte från Folkvangs slätter och Sessrumnirs Sal i det höga, så i alla fall från Kommunen, och det lokala Gatu- och Trafikkontoret, och det kommer till mig, när jag passerar en nybyggd såkallad ”Kunskapsskola” som ligger alldeles i närheten. Så är det, när man blir ofta och flitigt läst. Någon har hunnit före mig, läst och förstått.
Jag nås av flera meddelanden under dagen, från människor långt långt borta, från andra platser och tider. En vän ifrån vad som en gång var Landet Trump men som nu blivit Republiken Biden frågar mig om Hedniska människo-offer. Det självklara svar jag har att ge honom, är att det största offret är att blota bort också sig själv – and ”give all for those who gave all that they could give” – och som därför är värda att ihågkommas. Han har dragits in i en diskussion på Facebook nämligen – ett forum för svensk-amerikaner – om Skandinaviska folktraditioner, Lucia och annat sådant – och dessa amerikanska vrak, som ingenting vet och inget kan om Nordisk kultur – påstår att bevis för rituellt människo-offer skulle finnas i de Isländska sagorna, vilket är nys, kristen bullshit och total brist på insikt.
Min gode vän over there har redan läst en intressant avhandling, som kom för ungefär ett år sedan, och som jag inte tog upp till diskussion, eftersom jag å min sida just då blivit indragen i något annat Facebook-relaterat – precis som vanligt – och enligt SvD:s affärssidor heter snart FB inte FB längre – utan skall byta namn – en viss herr Zuckerberg – en stor och manifest Amerikansk Sucker, vars familj också ägnat sig åt en del bisarra utklädningslekar och roat sig kungligt på nordbornas bekostnad – insatta vet vad jag menar – vill faktiskt ha det så, nu när han är av judiskt ursprung och allt. Sedan kan vi ju också ihågkomma diverse amerikanska filmer om svensk Midsommar som kommit ut från en regissör i Jew York eller New York – också en sedvanligt amerikansk form av smutskastning, på just nationen Sveriges bekostnad.
Men alltnog – Klas Wikström af Edholms avhandling är djupgående, välskriven och väl värd att läsa. Jag har sett den också i nätupplaga. Han går igenom senhedendomens skrifter, arkeologiskt bevismaterial från senare år – 2000-talet – vilket är väl tunt och knappast tillför så mycket nytt – utöver Tollund-mannen och Grauballe-mannen och de andra mossliken nere i sitt 300-tal – en period 600 år före Vikingatiden – som otvivelaktigt genomgått ett frivilligt självoffer, en trefaldig rituell död i tider av missväxt och krig, finns knappt några nya, nyss tillförda bevis. Edholms avhandling baseras på en grundlig genomgång av materialet ur dels en juridisk synvinkel – i många fall kan det helt enkelt röra sig om Rättsskipning under Romersk Järnålder – redan Tacitus säger att germanerna avrättade de som vanärat sin egen kropp – vilket tolkats antingen som självstympning som ett slags svikande av tjänsteplikt, eller ”Aergi” och uppenbart och ohöljt bögeri – textstället kommer ur ”Germania” och har förbryllat forskarna, men förutom det rent rituella, religiösa bruken – en helt annan infallsvinkel på ämnet – finns också det legendariska, fragmentariska, litterära – berättelserna om Domalde, konungen som fick offra sig för folket; Agne och Agnefit, staden Stockholms uppkomst, låset vid Mälaren, Starkads offer av Kung Vikar – som han fick på sin lott att utföra, därför att så var hans örolg eller öde – och mycket annat.
Detta går inte att förneka, och på så sätt – fast bara så – finns det hela omnämnt i sagalitteraturen – medan somliga amerikaner inte skall förvrida sanningen mer.
Någon Domalde var aldrig Donald, med efternamnet Mr Trump. Säger man så, är man ute på helt fel väg – och problemet är; att sådant finns att läsa, ute på nätet av idag.
Kyle Rittenhouse, till exempel, 18 år gammal, som försågs med ett automatvapen han inte behärskade av en äldre, oförståndigare kamrat – och som misshandlades svårt av sk ”BLM-supportrar” (nej, de kom inte från Bonniers Litterära Magasin – BLM betyder som bekant något helt annat nuförtiden ) var visst inte ”en strålande förkämpe för Tyr” eller ”ett rättvisans redskap” utan just ett tragiskt självoffer – för amerikas vapenlagstiftning inte minst, och för omständigheterna, som noga kartlagts och redovisats, och som resulterat i en mild, men fällande dom – efter det att han själv frivilligt överlämnat sig till Polisen efter att ha omringats av en rasande mobb, som slog och misshandlade honom – direkt efter en annan eller första ”skjutning” – som han själv också orsakat. Hela rättsfallet finns mycket detaljerat och korrekt beskrivet på engelskspråkiga wikipedia, vars sätt att formulera och presentera fakta är åtskilligt korrektare än det pejorativa svammel vi kan läsa om Kung Domalde på den svenska versionen – utformat av en viss Lasse Liten Lönnroth i Göteborg, Williams Päron i Uppsala – eller gudarna vet vem – jag har redan åtskilliga gånger nämnt dessa skribenter med professors grad, produkter av det akademiska Sverige, som ibland glider på formuleringarna i sin strävan att skriva populärt, och som är inne på att ta ”PK-poäng” i nog så betänklig omfattning.
Klassar inte denna folkmassas beteende folkmassan själv, oberoende av vad slags individer den nu råkar bestå av ?
Men så mycket är ändå också sant – ja – jag har suttit rakt fram och gråtit över vad jag sett utspelas på min TV i Washington DC för nu snart ett år sedan, och för hur Mr Trumps era vid makten slutade. Jag har gråtit för de amerikaner inom ”Law Enforcement” som stod främst i vissa tunnlar, de som stod på post vid Capitol Hill, och alla de andra. Där kan man faktiskt närapå tala om hjältar, även om vi inte ska överdriva – men människo-offer – ja det uppstod, och det förekom verkligen – för där och då fanns ett skadeutfall.
Jag minns också hur jag reagerade, rent psykologiskt – omedelbart efter meddelandet om 9/11 – ty jag har fortfarande i mycket klart minne vem jag talade med den dagen, i verkliga livet eller elektroniskt, även om jag var mycket yngre då – vad slags signaler, ljudvågor och meddelanden nådde mig genom etern allra först – och förutspådde jag inte för en god kamrat den gången – att nu skulle närapå ett krig bryta ut, hela världen skulle vara bragd i harnesk och att detta skulle komma att prägla alla relationer på mellanfolklig nivå, jordklotet alltöver i flera decennier. Där blev jag sannspådd, men hon omringades just då av signaler från oroliga anhöriga, människor i skräck och sorg – och familjemedlemmar i ett tillstånd av direkt, vrålande panik.
Ja, jag sa hon. Inte kamrat som i han – hon är helt förändrad nu, finns inom den svenska Kriminalvården sedan länge och har tillhört en skara högfrekventa bloggare, vars skrivande om en viss Folkpartist vid namn Björklund och svenska liberaler, i motsats till vad som menas med ”liberals” over there en gång utmärkte hennes krior, som säkerligen finns kvar på nätet.
Jag ska inte berätta om hennes bakgrund, vilka amerikanska militärpolisförband på Okinawa och annorstädes hon varit stationerad hos, och så vidare och så vidare – eller vad för slags barn eller rättare sagt sysselsättningar vi haft ihop – så länge det varade – och hur hon reagerat, av och till. Vi har utbytt muskiksnuttar, upplevt DOS-attacker- jodå – hon kan utföra sånt med – sjungit små sånger för varandra, vaggvisor, använt koder, övertydliga skyltar – likt SMHI:s nya vädervarningssystem, men utökat med flera färger – inte bara gult, orange och rött, utan också lila och till slut svart, vilket är allvarligare beteckningar för lägen högt ovanför ”kod röd” – och sedan ”grönt” – ja sänd, kom – jag hör dig och jag minns dig också…
Jag svor en helig ed att aldrig omnämna henne, till henne själv – och det var minst tio år sedan – redan här har jag brutit mina principer. Men – det var i en annan tid, som sagt. Och hur vi horat, supit, svurit tillsammans – hatat och förnekat Gud och halva Världen – givetvis – gått dunkla och sällan prövade vägar, bara för att vi velat rensa skallarna på oss själva, arrangerat vad vi kunnat och utstått av det som kunnat göras, bara för sakens skull – bara för att vi tyckte att det skulle så vara, och att just vi två i någotslags missriktad intellektualism var tvunga att handla just så – för vi hade inga bättre verktyg att ta till, för att försöka bota, bättra och bearbeta en hel del.
Efter en viss Kveldulfrs död, till exempel – jag har omnämnt honom också – skriver jag aldrig mer om just amerikansk asatro, och de personer som nu finns där. Eller andra personer ur ett brokigt privaliv, ett ännu brokigare förflutet, en mänsklighet som ännu pågår, förändras – drivs framåt – men ja – jag har upplevt och fått se mycket, på min väg genom livet.
Sådant som det inte är förunnat genomsnittsmänniskorna att se – och på vägen blev jag därför Hedning, inte bara idag – utan alla dagar.
Det är fortfarande min plikt att vara just god, vad som än händer; oberoende av vem jag möter, vad jag möter, vem jag för tillfället är allierad med – kämpar mot och kämpar med, hos eller bortom. Från Freja till Oden – som är något annat än vad Freja står för – och tillbaka igen, allt i samma ögonblick, allt på samma dag.
Låt oss därför minnas vad vi blotat, offrat – hos andra eller hos oss själv. Alla vi mött, allt vi mött inom oss själva eller andra. Vad vi fått ge, för att försöka uppnå en varaktig förändring av sakförhållanden, för att lägga våra trådar i Urds väv, för att skilja sant från falskt, vederhäftigt från ovederhäftigt, vad som borde sägas högt, och vad som borde myllas ned i den svartaste jord, övehöljas med sand, förloras i det tysta.

The US capital has faced far more violent actions in just the last couple years, by people who did the same or far worse, and yet those people have been treated as a non-issue despite their own violence due to their political ties. I do not know where you get your news about my country from, but I would highly recommend you find other, more accurate and less biased sources.

Still, you are very right to say that our media sources – or what goes for national media over here – might be misinformed. Lastly – there is no excuse for ”vigilantism” or shooting people in the street, criminal or not. This is NOT the job of Jane or Jack Q Public, but the law enforcement agencies at hand in each nation-state, everywhere you go across Midgård or this Earth. After all – why didn’t Tyr do away with Fenris, when he could ? – He didn’t, because it wouldn’t have been just – even he had to await a true and greater judgement – when it comes – and therein, I believe – lies the answer…

Okay, to help clarify things further.
Kyle was not an uneducated 18 year old running around with a fully automatic weapon. The weapon in question was a semi-automatic (as a general rule, despite it being Constitutional), you can’t generally get your hands on fully automatic weapons as a civilian in the USA. So I’m not sure where you got that information. He also did have training with weapons, at least to a degree. While the USA does not have compulsary military service, we do have a rather large civilian gun culture that is very well educated on the subject.
Legally and constitutionally speaking, Kyle does and did have ”every business running around with a weapon.” Again, the laws and culture of your country may differ, but by the oldest traditions and laws of my country, every man and woman has the right to carry a weapon and use it in self defense, regardless of time and location.
In regards to ”Vigilantism” what Kyle did was not vigilantism (by USA’s laws, anyway), it was a clear cut case of self defense. This was determined by the court.
However, in my country, when it comes to vigilantism there is the modest tradition of ”when the law will not provide, a man may have to.” The simple fact of the matter is that during the BLM riots, police refused point blank to do their job. As a result, people were murdered, business were looted and burned, and countless people had their lives destroyed and ruined. I don’t know how it is in your country, but in mine the general rule has been ”if the police aren’t going to show up and save you, you can save yourselves.” There is also a saying here; ”When you have seconds to live, the police are just minutes away.”
I know that is one of the reasons my country has a reputation as reckless, gun-toting cowboys, but that’s just how it is over here. We’re a big country, generally the marshal or sheriff was pretty far away, and if someone was threatening your life, you had the right to protect it to the death.
Since you bring it up, I’ll go in a bit further as to what happened in regards to Jan 6 to try and help clear up some misinformation.
In the year leading up to the event, we had the BLM Riots/Protests across the country (I think they may have shown up in yours, idk, but here they were got very, very violent from the ”protestors.”). At one point, BLM even had a ”protest” in our nation’s capital where they attacked Congress people (violently), attacked governmental, historical, and civilian buildings (setting some of them on fire), and they even threatened the White House, though they didn’t get past the fence.
All during the year, the Democratic leadership repeatedly said ”riots are the voice of the unheard” and encouraged ”people to make their voices heard.” Along with other quotes to further incite an increase in the ”protests” by BLM.
Also prior to this, we had a confirmation hearing for a new Supreme Court Justice (highest court in the country), that was harassed and interrupted by a group of protestors who attempted to interrupt/shut down the proceedings because they ”believed” the man being appointed had committed sexual assault in college (these allegations later proved to be unsubstantiated/false).
Then we had our Presidential election. Now, on the one hand we had Trump who was and is very popular and unpopular in my country. During the election, in a time when my country was experiencing ”Shut downs” Trump was drawing massive, massive crowds whenever he spoke, to the point they would have to set up screens outside the building so people could watch/see. The man would was insanely popular, as evidenced by the fact he got one of the highest turnouts in US history during the election.
Running opposite him was Joe Biden. To give you a bit of history about Joe, the man has been trying to run for president since the 70’s or 80’s and he has consistently failed to even place in the nominations. The only reason he got to be VP under Obama was mostly because Obama wanted to spite Clinton and didn’t trust her. (There’s a running meme/legend that the Clinton tend to kill people). When it came to the actual run during 2020, Biden could barely get the press to show up, and no one would even watch the streams of his events. Kamala Harris, his VP, was so deeply unpopular with the Democratic party, she was taken out of the running in the first round with less than 1% of her party wanting her to run.
Then the election happens. You have an incredibly popular president at the height of his popularity going up against two of the most hated and disliked candidates in the history of the democratic party. In everyone’s minds, it shouldn’t have even been a contest. Then, somehow, the most unpopular man in democratic history…becomes the most popularly elected president in the history of the nation.
People called foul play instantly. The election defied all logic (it did, however, ironically fit the BBC’s article on election fraud to a T). People were confused, they were upset, and they wanted answers.
Which brings us to Jan 6. the day the vote was to be ratified.
Now, I don’t know how it is in your country, but as a rule (at least on our political right) the idea is that the Government is ”for the people, by the people” meaning that the government is in service to the citizens and government buildings are ”public property” meaning that as a citizen of the nation, you own said buildings. You have a right to enter them, and you have a right to view the legislative processes of the country. Certain rules and decorum apply, but the history of the USA has been of ”rules are more like guidelines” at times. We’ve had senators brawling on the floor of congress multiple times in our history.
So, Trump is one of many speakers during the day and he tells people to ”peacefully let your voices be heard.” This is important because the media has tried to claim he incited a violent mob. This is not the case. He called for peace at every point.
A crowd gathered outside the capital to protest the ratification of an election they believed to be fraudulent. There was already some evidence coming out of fraud, though it hadn’t been verified yet. Law enforcement at the building, then invited the crowd inside the capital. They didn’t ”violently storm” the capital as some of the media have tried to push, they were literally invited in. Once inside, they (for the most part), peacefully walked around the capital building, staying inside the ropes set up for tourists. At the end of the day, they all peacefully walked out of the building, despite the fact that an unarmed woman had been shot by law enforcement.
While the footage of the event has largely been suppressed, I have seen some of it. The ”violent protestors” literally looked like your average group of tourists. Walking around on the proscribed path, taking photos, and chatting.
Now, there were some issues with a few windows and an attempt to enter the congressional floor. However, I would point to earlier in my post to when BLM was in the capital rioting, looting, and burning buildings, and when a different group of protestors attempted to disrupt the confirmation of a supreme court justice. Neither of those two acts, despite being far more violent and disruptive, were treated or regarded as ”violent insurrections.” Even though both would meet and surpass the definition of ”violent insurrection” applied to the Jan 6. protestors.
As for the congressional people claiming they were scared for their lives? Half of them weren’t even in the building at the time. The most famous example would likely be Cortez, who claimed they were trying to break down her door to get her…despite being in a different building that had no protestors at all.
Ultimately, despite what the media and democratic party would have you believe, Jan 6 was a non-event, especially compared to the BLM and other protests the Democrats and Media encouraged to take place to ever larger and more violent degrees.
One of the worst parts is that it turns out the Jan 6 protestors were likely right about the election. Time Magazine published an article which openly confessed that a self labeled ”cabal” had gotten governors and courts to unconstitutionally and extra-legally change voting laws to permit the type of voting that carried the day for Biden. Private and Governmental investigations and audits have found fraudulent votes in numbers large enough to have swung the election for biden in their area. Were these votes removed, Trump would have won those places instead. This is important because Biden, despite having a massive number of popular votes (though that number was still close to Trump’s), only won by a very small margin of counties/districts.
While a nation wide audit is unlikely to ever occur, it is a reasonable conclusion that the election was indeed false as was suspected at the time. Yet, for the crime of protesting and wanting their concerns addressed (as is their legal and constitutional right in this country), they have been treated as terrorists, their civil rights repeatedly violated, held in prison without council or trial since the event, despite doing a fraction of what other, far more violent protestors have done, who have been allowed to go on about their lives unmolested.
In a way, you were right to weep over the events of Jan 6, but you wept for the wrong reasons.
By the very standards of the people labeling them terrorists, the Jan 6 protestors literally did nothing wrong. According to the constitution, they literally did nothing wrong. Yet, at the end of the day, people who went to make their voices heard have been labeled terrorists, while people who have actually terrorized their countrymen have been allowed to go free and unmolested.
During Kyle’s trial, the DA attempted multiple times to violate his civil and legal rights. There’s even allegations made during the trial that the DA attempted to deliberately provide the defense with falsified evidence in order to try and help convict him. At every turn, the media painted him as a rogue, blood thirsty killer who had no business being there…despite the fact that his father lives in that town, he worked in that town, and he was there primarily as a medic and firefighter and was armed because at that point in time, BLM protestors had already murdered dozens of people and he didn’t want to be what he almost was: another murder victim.
His isn’t the only similar case. Others who have acted in self defense have been called things just as bad as he was, and had their own civil and legal rights violated. There was one couple who got famous for driving off protestors who had broken their fence and come onto their property (something you are not legally allowed to do during a protest here). This is why I invoked Tyr, and called Kyle a champion of Tyr. Because in my country, the laws are being cast aside and violated left and right, and it was Kyle who has helped uphold the laws. It was literally a miracle that there was enough physical evidence to prove Kyle acted in self defense, because otherwise he would have been convicted by the false actions of the DA and the lies told by the media.
